Set amid arable land and oak groves, this small rural village is located on a plain with splendid views and beautiful sunsets.

In Sansomain you will find an example of the rural Romanesque Art of Valdorba, namely San Pedro's Church, from the 12th century.

With its medieval charm and careful restoration, the church is testimony to the Cistercian austerity of the Middle Ages.

Palacio de Cabo de Armería

Other remarkable examples of its rich cultural heritage include the Palacio de Cabo de Armería, a beautiful building from the first half of the 16th century, and the Cruz de Urkamendi.
This cross marks the passage of the pilgrims via an ancient road on the route to Santiago de Compostela which crossed the Valdorba.
